May officially begins the start to the many community events that the Webbs Mills Vol. Fire Dept. will be involved in in the upcoming months. May 12 crews represented our community very well just over the hill in the annual Caton Days Parade. 1821, 1872, and 1882 all were polished up and led the parade with the Caton Vol. Fire Dept. For the next week after Caton Days, Volunteers kept busy cleaning up our Fireman's Field for our first Mud Sale of the 2012 year. With time things came together and everything was in tip top shape for the event. The upcoming weeks are going to be even more busy for W.M.F.D. volunteers. REHAB 1873 is in high demand and will be establshing rehabilitation for NYS Fire Classes at the Chemung County Training Facility. Crews will provide the students in the class with water and cool down as it gets warmer out. Also our EMS personal will be busy standing-by for the start of the Rodeos at the Reese Ranch on Kinner Hill Rd. Throughout the summer W.M.F.D. will be doing numerous other things including monthly Mud Sales/ Flea Markets, Parades, and numerous firefighting competitions held throughout NY and PA. Stay posted on everything we're doing by following us on Facebook and/or Twitter.
