Webbtown Crews Respond to Barn Fire

01/08/10 At approximately 0530 hrs the Webbs Mills Vol. Fire Dept. was dispatched mutual aid one tanker to the scene of a barn fire on rt 549. After initial dispatch chief 1801 informed that all units respond with caution because road conditions were dangerous. 1861 responded with 2 personal. before arriving on scene the responce was upgraded to a full responce. At that time 1871 responded with 2, 1831 responded with 5 and 1821 responded with 5 personal. Upon arrival of 1802 and 1831 the crew established fire suppression. Crews were shuttled from the station to the scene due to weather conditions and wind chill of -4 degrees.Overhaul included emptying the loft of all hay and checking for any additional fire. All units cleared at around 1100 hrs.
