        Well February is all about safety at Webbs Mills FD, all the ground ladders have been inspected and maintanance has been performed by Fire Safety Testing from Hilton, NY on Feb. 8, 2010. All ladders passed and are in compliance with NFPA 1931. Also on Feb. 8th members attended the annual bloodborne pathogens refresher in-service during drill. This program covers our CFR 1910.1030 compliances for a section of workplace safety. On Saturday February 20,2010 the mandatory OSHA training will be conducted starting at 8am, doughnuts and refreshments will be on hand along with the department providing lunch. (Members please plan on attanding its reqiured by OSHA) Anyone unable to attend must take the Target OSHA training online thru FASNY and it must be completed no later than March 20, 2010. You will recieve a certificate from Target that must be turned into the department for credit of attendance. If you already haven't had your SCBA fit testing completed please do so, the weather will be getting nicer soon and we all would like to be outside, let's get the safety training in the class room done when it's cold and snowy during February.
