Overview
The Webbs Mills vol. Fire Dept. hosts the Chemung County 4H Jr. Firefighting program. This program is open to youth 10-until the time they can join the department at the age of 16. Ages 10-12 are cadets and 13-16 are actual jr. firefighters. The program is both beneficial for the youth and department and is a great aid to the community. The youth is able to learn about careers as a firefighter and medical personal and they are able to get invovled in an activity that will better them in many ways. The fire department also benefits because many of those who participate in the program move on to joining the department and providing the best care to thier community.

The program is involved in many events such as fire matics, parades, fundraisers, and much more.
